Antes de nada, una historiGood news / Bad news. The good news is... Unfortunately... Continuando la historia, utilizando las formas de dar buenas o malas noticias.  Otra actividad: con una foto congelada (Frozen pictures), debemos inventar qué ha pasado antes, por qué están así. Posteriormente, improvisar creando historias sobre el tema de la foto. Otra actividad para distinguir el papel del "writer", que inventa y del "narrator", que describe, responde.  Actividades con marionetas. Con puppets (hands, fingers, sticks) o con shadow puppets.  Preparación del soundscape: diferentes sonidos de ambiente para la historia.  Preparación de versiones de "A Midsummer Nights Dream" by Shakespeare. Escena del reparto de papeles. 

Los dos últimos días todos los participantes debíamos presentar micro lessons. Las características de estas micro lessons debían ser: Cada miembro del grupo debería realizar una sesión de 10 a 15 minutos, compartiéndola con los otros miembros. Serían ideas que cada uno ya utiliza en clase.  Las actividades debían incluir una parte práctica que realizará el resto de la clase y contar con un elemento distintivo de drama.  Se pueden utilizar ideas aprendidas en el curso.  Se puede incluir trabajo escrito además de trabajo activo práctico.  Si se requieren recursos materiales, por ejemplo, fotocopias, se deben pedir en la oficina para imprimirlas con tiempo.  Se deben incluir warm up activities que animen a la utilización del lenguaje, como pueden ser role-plays. 

Continuando la historia anterior y con ciertas condiciones debimos escribir una versión de la historia anterior. Personajes: Mary, Kate, corpse, grave digger, doctor, John, Beth, Margaret Axe (mother-in-law). Place: Exeter/two houses/hospital/ hospital chapel. Time: hoy (hasta dos días después). Clímax: escena en el hospital. Problema: bigamia Solución: amistosa Tensión: realización de su situación. Temas: rivalidad, celos, frustración, dolor, decepción, compasión, pena. Actividad para escribir un guión corto, con algunas condiciones: Que no tenga más de treinta palabras.  Que tenga tres momentos de tensión silenciosa (pausa dramática). Que muestre lenguaje corporal. Que tenga un lenguaje apropiado para la narración y la audiencia.  Que muestre respiraciones, cambios de tonalidad y de voz, proyección, riqueza tonal al hablar, control, lenguaje adecuado para su personaje.  Ritmo. Sin correr. Conjugando momentos de tensión con otros de fluidez.  Valorando si es realista y creíble.  Pausa dramática para enfatizar algo importante.  Story Arc. ROLE-PLAY Con la historia de Caperucita Roja (Little Red Riding Houdy), pero utilizando diferentes estilos: ópera, melodrama, dibujos animados, thriller, western... Divididos en dos grupos. Actividad muy divertida que fomenta la imaginación de los participantes. NARRACIÓN. VAL/FRANK Invención de una historia para representar y aprender a utilizar pausas y silencios. Debe tratar sobre un matrimonio Val y Frank, en la historia debíamos incluir: 1. Un momento de tensión.  2. Un momento de comedia.  3. Un momento de decepción.

VOICE Entrenamiento para relajarnos, respirar correctamente con el diafragma y proteger nuestras gargantas. Relajacion: -Girar la cabeza lentamente hacia la derecha e izquierda, hacia delante y hacia atras y hacia los hombros alternativamente 10 veces. -Girar los hombros en círculo de forma alternativa muy lentamente 10 veces.  -Girar el tronco sobre la cintura en círculo, primero hacia la derecha y luego hacia la izquierda 6 veces. -Girar las caderas en círculo en ambos sentidos 10 veces. Interesantísima y muy curiosa visita guiada sobre fantasmas y leyendas.

En una tarde de perros, con lluvia incesante, no pudimos disfrutar precisamente del Parque Nacional de Dartmoor, pero sí de un Cream Tea en Two Bridges, dentro del parque nacional. Tuvimos que cancelar el paseo de dos horas, pero lo sustituimos por una visita guiada a la preciosa iglesia, con una charla sobre la Primera Guerra Mundial.

Hemos dedicado la mañana del tercer día para improvisar. Ha sido muy divertido. Hemos tenido que estrujar nuestra imaginación. A PLACE, A TIME, ONE LINE A la vez que utilizábamos las preposiciones, pudimos improvisar con lugares y tiempos. Fue gracioso. Tuvimos que pensar muchísimo.  HITCHHIKE Una de nosotros conducía un coche formado por cuatro sillas, colocadas de dos en dos. El conductor iba recogiendo a personas que imitaban distintos caracteres (un borracho, un anciano, una loca, un tartamudo...).  WHAT ARE YOU DOING? Una persona realiza gestos que no se corresponden con las acciones que va describiendo. La persona que pregunta para a realizar los gestos.  WASHING AN ELEPHANT Muy parecido al anterior, una persona realiza algo y dice que hace algo completamente loco y sinsentido. A la vez utilizamos adverbios como "sleepy", "slowly", "angrily", "mysteriously"... HOST THE PARTY (GUESS THE OBSESSION) / SURPRISE GUEST...
